Hares and Hounds 50 / 10 km
As with 2008, 2009 sawlast minute changes to the course. This didn't take anything away from the event and it drew another healthy field for all three events (a 5km event having been added to the card since last year).
GLASSHOUSE 50 mile / 50 / 30 / 11 k
Sunday May 17th saw Glasshouse Trails 20th year kick off with a highly successful event which generated a total of 274 finishers across all four events.
This, as was the total number of entrants (over 50 in the 50km and 100+ in 30km and 11km events), was a record for Glasshouse Trails.

GLASSHOUSE 100
Another record number of entries (as has been the case throughout the series).
A lot did it tough this year but that may be a reflection of the contagious pace that was evident in the number of sub 24 and especially sub 20 hour performances
TRY GLASSHOUSE
- Hundreds of runners experience the unique environment, challenging courses and community atmosphere of the Glasshouse Trail runs each year. Aid stations are considered the "best stocked of any trail run" and there is first class medical support on hand. Weather can be hot in May but the July and September events are usually mild to warm (although they too can be hot!)About the course…
