Why trail running?

Why trails? Scenery, fresh air and the adventure are easy ones. But did you know that trail running is also a great way to actually reduce injury? No more pounding on tarmac and inhaling fumes from cars. Trail running is great for your legs and ankles. The trails are softer underfoot, rhythm is broken, and therefore the risk of common repetitive injuries is greatly reduced. Road runners who are keen on increasing their mileage can benefit from adding a trail run to their weekly schedule. Good for body and soul!
